Visionary and Founder

Founder Ernest Wade Meeks is a man with a dream and a vision, as well as a self-motivated entrepreneur. He is a regular Christian man with a heart of gold and a desire to help people who may need a second or third chance. The focus is on people less fortunate, or who have been through something in life, and may just need others who really care to reach out to them.  He has longed for this and has had this vision in his head and on his heart for quite some time.  Now, it is finally getting into motion and he won't stop until he sees this great vision come to life.

Our staff members are a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of skills and expertise. Our goal is to make a difference in your life and those around you. Don't just stand on the sidelines—get engaged in your community.

Alicia Thompson

An educator that is dedicated to helping all people.  Alicia has worked in public education for over a decade and has created the Thompson Education Center, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her dedication to helping the At-Risk population, along with shared visions as Mr. Ernest Meeks, led her to join the Nesbitt Foundation Inc.

“Everyone falls short of a goal or need a helping hand to get back on track at some point in time in life. The only failures are those who fail to try. The Nesbitt Foundation Inc. aims to help mend any and all broken homes. We want to be community-based organization that you can come to for any additional resources that may be needed to achieve your goals.”
